§01What it replaces

The whiteboard, the group chat, and the pile of unsent invoices

F-01

Drag-and-drop scheduling

Build the day's board in minutes. Move a job to another tech and their phone knows before you let go of the mouse.

F-02

Live truck routing

Every truck on one map. When an emergency call lands, send the closest tech — not the loudest one.

F-03

Invoicing at the door

Techs quote, invoice, and take card payment on site. The job is paid before the truck leaves the driveway.

F-04

Customer texts, automatic

“Rafael is 12 minutes out.” Sent on its own, every time. Fewer no-shows, fewer “where's my tech?” calls.

§02A Tuesday on Crewline

From first coffee to trucks parked

  1. 06:45

    Dispatch builds the board

Twelve jobs, six techs, ten minutes. Yesterday's unfinished work rolls forward on its own.

  2. 07:02

    Routes hit the trucks

Every tech opens the app to today's jobs, in drive order, with gate codes and job history attached.

  3. 09:14

    Emergency call rerouted

Restaurant with no AC. Dispatch drags the job onto the nearest truck; the customer gets an ETA text in the same minute.

  4. 11:30

    Job closed, paid on site

Compressor swapped. The tech invoices from the driveway and takes a card — $840 settled before lunch.

  5. 17:10

    Day closed out

Every job has a status, every invoice is out, and payroll hours are already logged from the trucks.

We stopped running the company off a whiteboard and a group chat. The board runs the day now — I found out I'd been eating two unbilled jobs a week.

Dana Hargrove

Owner, Hargrove Mechanical — 14 techs, Tulsa OK

Invoices used to go out three days after the job, if we remembered. Now the customer pays at the door and my Fridays are mine again.

Owner, Baird Electric — 9 techs, Dayton OH

§04FAQ

Asked by every shop owner

We run on paper and a whiteboard. How painful is the switch?

Most shops are fully on Crewline inside a week. You import customers from a spreadsheet (or we do it for you), build tomorrow's board once, and the trucks pick it up from there. Techs need about ten minutes with the app — if they can text, they can use it.

What happens when a tech has no signal?

The mobile app keeps working offline — job details, notes, photos, and signatures are stored on the phone and sync the moment the truck is back in coverage.

Are there card processing fees on top?

Card payments taken on site cost 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction, the same as most processors. There are no monthly minimums and no fees on invoices paid by check or cash.

Is there a contract?

No. Crewline is month-to-month, and the first 14 days are free without a card. If you leave, you can export every customer, job, and invoice.
